Just about half of my entire Windows game library runs in Wine perfectly or nearly perfectly. There are more that I have run in Wine, but don't run anymore (got bored with them). Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy Star Trek Armada 2 (still working on getting 1 to work) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 Half-Life 2 (plus Episode 1 and Lost Coast)Ĭounter Strike: Source (though I don't really play it much) The list of Windows 3D games that I can play on Wine is pretty good and there are others here who play even more than I do: With a little Wine configuration and customization, many more will work nearly flawlessly. Many 3D games work fine with the default Wine installation. You need to stop listening to whoever told you that immediately, they have no idea what they are talking about.
I was told direct x doesn't work in wine and that is why 3d games don't work :confused:
